Small or large, events that threaten our well-being have an impact on how we perceive and interact with the world. The brain wants to and can heal. I want to help it do that, so I have spent the majority of my career specializing in healing trauma and helping the nervous system recalibrate.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Psychology at Auburn University in 2009. I, then, received two master's degrees from East Carolina University in 2012 where the Counseling program was in the top ten of the nation. I hold master's degrees in Substance Abuse & Clinical Counseling and Rehabilitation & Career Counseling. I have continued to advance my training and education since to earn complimentary certifications.
I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist.

I chose to study Psychology because it is the thing that makes my brain happiest to learn about and because I find the existence of being human to be absolute magic. I chose to be a therapist because sometimes that magic gets obscured. There is always light and dark in humanity. Dark finds us without much help, but I want to help cultivate your light. So, I named my company after a place that has always helped to cultivate mine.
